This Romney op-ed, titled "What I Learned at Bain Capital," doesn't qualify as a "must read," but I liked some of the anecdotes and his applications of them.
Contrast, though, this:
The experience taught me that when you see a problem, run toward it or it will only get worse. with this Coolidge quote:If you see ten troubles coming down the road, you can be sure that nine will run into the ditch before they reach you. I don't think either is necessarily wrong; the trick is in distinguishing which potential problems carry the biggest risks of getting worse if not stopped early and which potential problems can be handled just as easily if you wait until they are realized.
