So when you hear folks saying, well, the President shouldn’t want massive, job-killing tax increases when the economy is this weak -- nobody is looking to raise taxes right now. We're talking about potentially 2013 and the out-years.

Anyone who says the President wants massive, job-killing tax increases before November of 2012 is lying.

He seems to change his mind a lot, so it's possible he'll decide later that he wants to enact massive, job-killing tax increases before November of 2012. But, no, as of his statement last week, he did not.
