This poll surprises me, in that it finds that Paladino's approval rating is 29-57. I would have expected worse; I'm in the disapprove tally (as you'll observe, if you search the archives here), and I plan to (technically) vote for him next Tuesday.

Less for him, actually, than to keep the Conservative Party on the ballot for another four years. New York makes one vote serve both purposes. Perhaps ironically, one of the things I like about the Conservative Party is that they expressed skepticism toward Paladino early, going so far as to back a less conservative but indisputably sane candidate until they really had no choice.
