Idle thoughts of a relatively libertarian Republican in Cambridge, MA, and whomever he invites. Mostly political.

Apparently the National Organization for Women is complaining about the quite innocuous Tim Tebow ad last night on the grounds that his tackle of his mother promotes violence against women.
One objection to this is that this is absurdly hypersensitive. Apparently, the powers that be at NOW live in sterile, no-roughhousing environments and are appalled that anyone else doesn't. But you also have to wonder: did they see any of the other commercials last night? GoDaddy didn't bother them? The "living with a woman is emasculating but I draw the line at giving up my car" ad didn't bother them?
