Glenn Reynolds got what he describes as a friendly email from the pro-American left from someone who seems unconvinced that things in Iraq are going well. Reynolds responds, in part, with a list of some predictions that were excessively pessimistic.
He also notes:No, not all antiwar lefties want us to lose, as I've noted at tiresome length in the past, but most of the ones who email me seem to. Especially before the invasion, I think the no-blood-for-oil morons outshouted the sane, thoughtful members of the anti-war crowd. I think it's often the case that the insane members of a coalition get undue attention, just because jackassery and volume go together like dark chocolate and red wine (which I suggest you try, if you haven't).
UPDATE: Just to be extra clear, I mean that you should try the wine and chocolate, not the jackassery and volume. Thanks.
