Thursday, June 17, 2004 :::
From the 9/11 committee hearings, Patrick Fitzgerald on cooperation between Iraq and al Qaeda. Much of the media seems to have reported that "there was no connection between Iraq and [9/11 or al-Qaeda], contrary to what the President has claimed"; the President has maintained his belief that there was a connection between Iraq and al Qaeda, but not between Iraq and 9/11, and this seems to be holding up. (There is not, however, clear evidence that Iraq was not connected to 9/11; Czech intelligence still maintains that it was.) It seems the President's subtlety and nuance may be too much for the media to handle.Update: More, and yet more.
