economic dataProducer Price Index up .1% as expected, core up .2% against a consensus of .1%. Initial claims of unemployment 398,000 against 393,000. Continuing claims fell 6,000 (they're in the 3.7 million range). Trade deficit smaller than expected. CPI comes out tomorrow.
