If the earth isn't the center of the universe, why do things fall toward it? And how come we don't go flying off the earth, if it's in motion? A heliocentric planetary system just DOESN'T MAKE SENSE!!!
I would suppose that the effect of carbon dioxide on temperature is positive, for the same reason the quoted climatologist believes that, but I'd be quite reluctant to infer a magnitude from it.
